Girls
Face - Use both a moisturizer and foundation to enhance your skin's natural glow. Use a matte poweder to set. Please no glittery bronzers.

Cheeks - A nice pink applied lightly to the hollows of your cheeks will brighten up the appearance of your face.

Lips - Glossy, Shiny Color! Berry or brownish colored is best. No frosty pinks please. Bring extra berry gloss with you.

Clothing
Conservative - Bring a least one long sleeved, solid color shirt or sweater.

Bring something FANCY! - I love homecoming dresses.

Trendy - Also include two or three trendy outfits that you love and feel great in. The holey jeans and funky jacket are perfect for an urban session.

Accessories - Bring lots of hats, scarves, necklaces, shoes, whatever you can think of. You really can't bring too much. If you play an instrument, bring it! If you play sports, bring that stuff too.

Ideas - If you see something fun in a magazine, let's play!

Guys
Hair - Don't get your hair cut the day before your session. It's best to wait a week or two.

Face - If you normally shave, please come freshly shaved. If you do wear facial hair please have it nicely trimmed. A nice matte powder will help with shiny spots.

Clothes
For Mom - One outfit long sleeved, solid color shirt or sweater.

For Grandma - If you want a jacket and tie bring those. If you don't know how to tie a tie, have someone tie it before you come.

For you - Wear fun and cool stuff, like t-shirts, distressed jeans, sweatshirts and jackets.

Gear - Bring your sports gear. Helmets, snow and skate boards, balls, pads, you got em, bring em!

Car - Love your car? Have it clean and shiny and we can shoot it too.

FAQS
Oh NO, my portrait session is today and my face has broke out. What should I do?
Don't worry! Getting rid of blemishes and evening out your skin tone is part of what we do. Digital is wonderful that way.

Where can I have my portraits taken?
You will probably want to have some of your portraits taken in the studio. After those are out of the way, we can mosey around Oldtown Mukilteo. There are quite a few different looks to be found there, or we can hop in a car and find another spot. Downtown Everett is perfect for the Urban look. The Arboretum at Legion Park in North Everett is beautifully landscaped and a favorite place of mine to photograph. Beach sessions require a little extra effort, but I have a local park nearby that is quite nice. You could also consider a special place that has some significance to you and your family, like a cabin on Whidbey Island or your own back yard. This is your senior portrait, your story. How do you want it told?

What if it rains?
Most days in The Great Northwest are perfect for photography. Overcast days provide the softest most flattering natural light for portraits. Even our typical rainy days can provide stunning portraits. Sunny days actually pose a greater problem for portraits. The only really bad day for outdoor portraits is a dark heavy rain or high winds. I will gladly reschedule for a heavy rain day but most days are perfect for photography.

How much will I spend?
That's really up to you, but, you probably won't get by for less than $350. My average client spends between $600 and $800.

What if I don't like my pictures?
I guarantee you will LOVE your portraits! If for some reason you are not happy, I will gladly reshoot your session or based upon your feedback, refund your session fee.
