I have begun a new project to recognize the 150th anniversary of the Mukilteo Lighthouse. I am seeking the Living Legends of our town to capture their stories that will be displayed as a Legends Gallery as well as a published book. I met my first Legend, Ed Taylor, at my favorite coffee shop in Downtown Mukilteo. He and several other Legends of our town meet daily at the Table of ‘Nalage’ to discuss the news of today and yesterday. I chose Ed to be my first Legend because he built the building that currently houses my studio. He operated Taylor’s Landing a restaurant that catered to the US Air Force when they were stationed at Paine Field. It was nice to hear his stories and learn a little bit about the building’s past. I was thrilled to capture this wonderful portrait of a Legend named Ed.
